The Park of Brandedleys
The AA’s Campsite of the Year 2007 for Scotland

The perfect base for sightseeing and touring

At The Park of Brandedleys, you couldn't be better placed to see all of the attractions and natural treasures that the South West of Scotland has to offer. There is so much to see and do here.

For keen anglers, there are ample opportunities for sea fishing, the rivers are full of salmon and trout, whilst the lochs and streams are teeming with course fish. For those who just love to walk, there are sandy beaches and rocky coves to explore, meandering cliff-top paths, magnificent forest trails or winding rivers to follow with cascading waterfalls.

There are beautiful gardens to admire, whilst castles and historic houses, craft shops, parks, art galleries and museums are amongst the best in the country.

Golfers will love the choice of no fewer than 25 challenging courses within a 20-mile radius of the park, and of course, there's the Robert Burns Heritage Trail with locations in and around Dumfries, dedicated to Scotland's national poet.
